Smaragdus means green in latin. This word became a name of one of the most desired gemstones of the world - emerald. Large, opaque faceted marquis of this stone was captured in silver serpentines. Double chain was made asymmetrical by adding faceted rondelles of green aventurine just on one side. All in heavily oxidised and polished fine and sterling silver.
The pendant measures 5.5cm by 2cm.
The chain is 70-85cm long.
