Baguio is a Philippine name for a tropical cyclone - the phenomenon this pendant brings to mind from the very first moment. Hoops coiled in different ways represent the cyclone's maelstrom and the dark blue/grey colour of iolite - the stone used in this pendant - refer to the stormy aura. Facets in iolite and the colour of oxidised silver make a truly electrifying impression. The pendant is hanging from a double rollo chain with two different link sizes, which was adorned with iolite. The whole piece is totally hand-crafted - long hours of precise work accompanied by a lacish amount of oxidised sterling and fine silver.
