I wanted to create a necklace where each element can tell a story - hence the diversity of shapes, numerous kinds of gemstones (turquoise, turkmenite, labradorite, lava, biotite, amazonite, tourmaline, and other), Murano glass and rare silver findings (bali beads, silver foil beads and wire wrapped beads and caps hand-crafted by me). This necklace was supposed to be a declaration of my love to everything connected with seas and oceans - you'll find many shades of blue and green here and also grey.
I also wanted the wearer to be able to personalise the necklace or wear it differently every day - so I made the S-shaped clasp you can adjust the length of the necklace with and I also used another idea - all strands are connected with the wire by small S-shaped clasps - you can wear one, two or three strands at a time or join them all together to create a very long strand.
Length of the necklace in the form of 3 strands with chain: ca 80cm (including 22cm of chain)
Length in the form of a long strand: 120cm
